It is very easy to fall into a trap of measuring self-worth purely by our work and as a result pour all our time and energy into a job that we may not even enjoy. This can turn us into someone we don’t recognise or even like.

I believe that by intentionally changing the way we live, love, and work we can create a kinder, more compassionate world. But we must start with ourselves.

In order to thrive we must learn how we function. This means taking ownership and accountability for how we operate on a habitual basis

It is my mission to help people look inwards to understand how their thoughts, feelings and behaviours impact their daily life and their future.

By understanding the interplay and influence of habits and lifestyle choices, I teach high performers how to take ownership and accountability to live their life with purpose and compassion

I have created the Purposeful Life Strategy  to help me, and others, learn how to work, love and live life on purpose.

I recovered from illness and burnout by treating myself as a human experiment! I tried many different tools and techniques to discover what works best for me. I combined everything that I have learnt from my research with my emotional intelligence coaching to formulate a strategy that can be adapted and personalised to be successful for those willing, able, and committed to changing their lives for the better.

With 4stages the Purposeful Life Strategy takes you from simply functioning through to flow where you can realise your potential and authentically live life on purpose.


As humans we have 3 basic needs in order to survive, they are;

  • Breathe
  • Move
  • Eat

We often pay little attention to how well we do them, or how much effort we put into these needs because the body is amazingly adaptable and resourceful.

We can learn to ‘survive’ on limited food, junk food or on a new ‘miracle’ diet. We can ease physical pain with lotions, potions, and pills. We can breathe shallow and from the chest and still ‘get by’.

Just because we CAN doesn’t mean we SHOULD

In the Purposeful Life Strategy, I have added two components to our basic needs (eat, breathe, move), that I believe are important to living intentionally, these are;

  • Sleep
  • Mind

I have lived experience of paying attention to, investing in, and improving these 5 areas to create a better life.

I think everyone deserves to be listened to and heard. As a coach, I am non-judgemental, this means I won’t have an opinion on what you share with me. I don’t know how you arrived at your values and beliefs and whatever is right for you, is right for you. I will always be honest with you.

You can trust and rely on me to offer an alternative point of view to aid our discussion and help you understand yourself better.  I won’t sugar coat but I will certainly offer kindness and compassion.

When I was deciding what kind of coach I wanted to be, I focussed in on emotional intelligence over everything else because it looks at people as individuals, in their complete and unique selves. It helps us understand who we are and how we came to be this way.  

The appeal of Emotional Intelligence for me was in learning to know, accept and love myself and in doing so I have deepened my empathy for others and enhanced my relationships with greater patience, understanding and connection.

I am interested in people’s stories - I want to hear their past, their present and their future aspirations. I love the moment when someone has a break-through, when everything slots into place and the light comes on.
